Version 2.0 for Excel Released!

We’re really proud of our latest release of Nextanalytics for Excel, and I think you’ll be impressed with how much you get for so little. This is not just a simple add-in to Microsoft Excel; it brings a lot of capabilities from large-scale BI applications down to the desktop for personal use. New to version 2 is the ability to load columnar data while retaining the ability to adapt to date formats and to search/replace text as you load. Combined with our powerful scripted analytics and one-button refresh, and you’ll see how much more you can do in Excel without struggling to maintain formulas!

For web analysts, the reworked Google Analytics connector now supports multi-account, multi-profile environments with ease and the query builder includes an updated rules engine so you don’t have to guess what metrics go with what dimensions. Of course, there are no limits to the number of profiles or accounts you can use, and we automatically run multiple queries to break Google’s 10,000 row limit. On top of all that, the scripted analytics allow one button refresh to your custom dashboards. No other product on the market can do all this!

I’ll explore the new feature set in more detail in future articles.
