Website Visitors Overview Report in Excel
Have you ever wanted your Google Analytics reports in Excel, so you can share them with your boss? Maybe add a tweak or two to reflect your (or ‘Her’) unique needs? Well, now you can, and you don’t have to be an Excel whiz to do it! Start with our XLS file, and simply enter your Google Analytics account info, click the Nextanalytics Refresh button and your web site data appears before your eyes! Save your workbook and send it up the chain. Life doesn’t get much easier!
This report includes a number of handy bits of information, including a trend diagram showing the number of visitors over time. Seven top-level metrics are also presented, giving you totals as well as mini charts for each metric so you can see how they have changed over the past three months. The summary technical profile includes the most frequently-used browser on your site, plus a profile of the connection speeds that your visitors have to the web. Now you know the argument for cross-browser compatibility and whether that streaming media or large image gallery will be received properly by most of your visitors.
To use, simply download the spreadsheet file (compatible with Excel 2003 and 2007) and enter your Google Analytics account information. You’ll need the profile ID number for your web site, but you can find that simply by logging in to the Google Analytics data connection – we’ll show you all your profiles and their ID numbers. After you have entered that into the AccountInfo sheet, click on the Nextanalytics Refresh menu item, and watch your website data appear.
